Fairfax Long Girth – Black

The Fairfax Performance Girth Range is high tech, unique, and packed with features that horse riders and owners alike will love! It is tried and tested, and we’ve found that it drastically increases the horse’s performance, by reducing pressure, increasing range of movement and eliminating gait asymmetry. This is helped by the Prolite lining, which is popular and well renowned for again helping to reduce pressure, absorbing impacts and also allowing the muscles to move freely underneath, whilst still keeping a close contact.  It is the only girth to have been tested during its development in conjunction with the BEF World Class Programme, and was involved in trials with 18 international showjumping horses, where the results spoke for themselves: A significant improvement was found in every horse! This girth is well worth the investment, and as well as giving you top class performance, the thing we most love about Fairfax girths is that they last forever!

Fit – This girth comes up small due to the non-elasticated nature of the girth, it is advised to measure your normal girth size but if in doubt then go one size larger. We recommend that the Fairfax long girth should fasten on the third or fourth hole up on both sides of the saddle.

Standard or Narrow? – The Fairfax girths come in two options, standard gauge or narrow gauge. If your horse measures 21cm and above, you will need a Standard Gauge. If your horse measures 20cm or less you will need the narrow gauge.

How to Measure your horse –  you will need to measure the area between the horse’ elbows on the flattest part.
