The outer is a high tenacity super strength Nylon, which has a waterproof and breathable coating. the lining is a stay dry, wicking lining, which will help keep your horse comfortable if the sun suddenly comes out midday, or the herd starts to gallop round on a sudden whim!

The lining is quite substantial, so although it does not have a filling, this rug will keep your horse warm ideally between the temperatures of zero degrees and 14 degrees C – making it truly versatile and with having such a good quality wicking lining – the moisture is drawn away from the skin and is held away – your horse has less chance of overheating.

Because of the efficacy of the lining, the Smartex rain can be put on a wet horse after exercise or washing and the Stay-dry lining will wick away the moisture, dry your horse and the lining will remain dry next to your horse’s skin, making this a great addition to your travel wardrobe for those wet, horrible comeptition days.

The shoulder darts give more room in the front and the click and go front closure system is secure and ensures you don’t get a gap at the front as it is secured with a magnet. The top velcro strap covers the fastening to give a really safe finish.
